How best to spend one's time is always on our guests' list of FAQs.  Lucky for our treasured abode dwellers there is no lack of things to do.

Hike & Climb:

World class hiking is located within 15 minutes at Sam's Point Preserve which offers rewarding views after about a mile of uphill walking.  Minnewaska State Park offers swimming near the parking area, stunning sky lakes and a variety of hiking and biking trails plus several waterfalls.  World class rock climbing is 20 minutes door to door at the GUNKS where there are also varying levels of hikes to accommodate all nature lovers.

Live Arts:

The Shadowland Theatre located right in the heart of Ellenville has gotten lots of kudos for its professional theater. Bistro dine across the street doppo teatro.

Swim

Swim in, lounge by our 30 x 50 foot eco-friendly salt water pool.  Take a rural drive to the  Peek-a-moose Blue Hole rated one of the nation's top five swimming holes.  Buttermilk Falls is just down the road from there.

Fish

Our pond is stocked with large mouth bass, so bring your pole.

Yoga

Poolside yoga can be provided or we can recommend nearby Sivananda Yoga Ranch. There are many more possibilities like Radiant Yoga in Mountaindale and MaMA in Stone Ridge.

Antiquing

Water Street Market in New Paltz provides multiple antique vendors.   In historic High Falls find Barking Dog Antiques, Cat House Antiques, Spruce Design and Decor.  Stone Ridge Antiques is on the way there right on route 209.

Wine

The Shawangunk Wine Trail is easily accessible from here.  Bring home a dessert Peche wine from Adair Vineyards, a Cabernet Franc from Brimstone Hill, a Pinot Noir from Whitecliff.  They have a spectacular view of the Shawangunk Ridge.  Very local Basha Kill Vineyards has organic wines and live music on weekends Memorial to Labor Day.
