Chia Seed Pudding Print

Chia seeds have been getting a lot of attention for their high concentration of omega-3 fatty acids, essential for the absorption of vitamins.  The gel-like consistency of this pudding also slows the turning of carbohydrates into sugar, making chia seeds an endurance super food. This is a recipe that was shared with me.

Ingriedients:

  • 1 cup chia seeds
  • 1 quart vanilla hemp milk.  If you use this brown rice syrup sweetened product, you won't need to add any other sweetener.

 Whisk as you add hemp milk to bowl with chia seeds.  Let set 10 minutes.  Then add:

  • 1 cup currants, blueberries or other fruit.
  • In 30 minutes the pudding will be ready to eat.
